WASHINGTON - Residents in our listening area might want to consider giving more during the holiday season. That's because the website, WalletHub, found that Iowa ranked in the bottom when it came to charitable states.
Iowa ranked 41st, while Kansas came in at 34th, Missouri came in at 24th, and Nebraska came in at 22nd. The website looked at several metrics, including donations, volunteer rates and the number of charities per capita.
WalletHub found the most charitable state was Utah, while the least charitable was Arizona.
